Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a court order?
Not necessarily. Some property retrieval situations require a court order, while others do not. Each request is individually reviewed based on the specific circumstances. If a court order is needed, you will be notified during the administrative review process.
Does signing the agreement mean my request has been approved?
No. Signing the agreement confirms only that you agree to the terms and conditions governing the service. Every request must still be reviewed and may require verification of court orders, additional documentation, coordination, and payment before services can be provided.
Will the Constable decide ownership of disputed property?
No. The Constable is present solely to preserve the peace, ensure safety, and facilitate an orderly retrieval. The Constable will not determine ownership or the legal right to possession of any item. Disputes must be resolved through the appropriate court.
Can I upload documents later?
Yes. If you do not have your documents available at the time of submission, you can still submit your request. Additional documents can be uploaded at any time through the Client Portal.
Can I communicate with your office through the portal?
Yes. Once your request is submitted, you will have access to a secure messaging system within the Client Portal. All communications regarding your request will be handled through that secure channel. For urgent matters that require immediate attention, you may also call the office directly at 570-688-8291.
